May 2011: Joseph is 9 years old and wants to be a pilot when he grows up. He is an all around great kid and many of the other boys in P3 call him their best friend. Joseph's favourite food is matooke and his best friend is Okoth Michael. He lives with his mom, Scovia, dad, Daniel, and 5 siblings; Sylvia (P6), Javel (P1), Immaculate and James (baby class) and baby Hellen who isn't yet in school. Both parents work for the stone quarry. This month Joseph was given a new uniform and medication for de-worming. He was able to take part in a fun field trip to Wonder World, an amusement park.
July 2011: Owori Joseph is so excited to have a brand new uniform, thanks to his sponsor Amelia. Previously, with so many kids in the family attending the school, his parents could only afford a uniform for the eldest, Sylvia. Now all 5 kids are sponsored and in uniforms! His uniform was purchased in May, and this photo is from July.
